For 6 months, you’ll work in a field connected to your studies, meet new people, and explore breathtaking landscapes.

Participation Requirements
- Minimum age: 19
- Full-time student (at an accredited university)
- The internship must be related to your field of study
- English: IELTS 6.00 / TOEFL 550 / SLEP 58 or equivalent
Application Procedure
After completing the form and submitting your file (CV, passport, student ID, proof of English proficiency, etc.), you’ll have an interview with a Student Travel representative.
We handle your placement in NZ, visa documentation, flight ticket, and medical insurance. Everything is organized so you can focus on learning, exploring, and developing professionally.

Professional Experience and Kiwi Culture
The internship takes place in a real company, in a role directly related to your studies. You can start in October/November or June/July, and salaries begin at NZ$ 18.16/hour. You’ll also receive temporary accommodation upon arrival, airport transfer, ongoing sponsor support, and a Lonely Planet Guide so you don’t miss a single adventure.

Useful Information
- The internship cannot be changed during the program – the visa is issued for a specific job
- If income is under NZ$ 1000/month, you must show proof of additional funds
- After returning home, you can apply for a tax refund in NZ
You can extend the program for another 6 months if both the employer and sponsor agree
