Host Company Description

Python Corporation is seeking two J-1 Trainees to join its civil engineering team in Lacombe, Louisiana. The trainees will gain practical experience supporting structural concrete restoration and construction projects while developing their knowledge of U.S. engineering and project management practices.

Position Description

he trainee will receive hands-on training and participate in:

Supporting site assessments and field engineering activities
Assisting with surveying and project measurements
Performing quantity takeoffs and basic cost estimating
Supporting structural concrete restoration planning
Assisting with bid preparation and project documentation
Learning project scheduling and construction coordination
Reviewing engineering drawings and project specifications
Using AutoCAD or similar engineering software
Learning construction management procedures and quality-control practices
Communicating with engineers, contractors, and project team members
Supporting the planning and execution of restoration projects under the supervision of experienced civil engineers
