“Why I think summer is the favorite season of the year? Because of the warm weather, vacations and endless fun.

During the summer, you are free to do whatever you want, not worning about curfews or waking up early. Summer time is a great time to relax with friends and family. Everyone work so hard during the school year, so they deserve free time. Summer time is the time to do crazy things, like go up places you have never been, which brings me to the summer of 2019. I live in Ocean City which is full of beaches, parties and relaxing with friends. Also, I work at Harpoon Hanna’s which is a place that is filled with life. Everyone comes there to have a great time.

We also bring a lot of exchange students in from a lot of different places. Working with them can be described as challenging but also exciting. It takes a lot of time to adjust to a new place but another language is different, so you have to really recognize the effort they are putting in to be apart of the team. For me, I loved when the students would come here because they are very nice. But also they teach a lot about their countries. For example, how they come here to make more money so they can travel or use it for school, or even to bring it back to them families. A long the line you start becoming close to same of them, then once the summer ends and they all start to leave it’s hard because you truly make good friends.

This summer has been great, I would keep must of them here with me if I could. Really going to miss a lot of them and hope they come back next summer.”
