shops at Jordan Pond! Acadia National Park is located on Mount Desert Island, Maine. It was the first national park established, east of the Mississippi River. It boasts 26 mountains (with the tallest being Cadillac Mountain), miles of rocky coast and two dozen ponds and lakes.
