Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse offers guests an unparalleled dining experience, served in the spirit of southern Brazilian style cooking. From the moment guests are seated they are welcomed to our extensive salad bar of hot and cold seasonal favorites, which features seafood and sushi. A continuous table-side service offers savory choices of more than 15 different cuts of beef, pork, lamb and poultry are prepared and presented by Gauchos. This restaurant has existed for over 13 years and has hired many exchange visitors over the years!
Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse offers great jobs if you like to be around people and want to work on improving your English. Team members should have great work ethics, be open minded and excited to learn about the Hospitality Industry and the Myrtle Beach area! We are able to interview and hire couples and friend groups. Bus Person $9.00/hour- 4 positions
Dishwasher $10.00/hour- 4 positions
Food & Beverage Assistant $9.00/hour- 3 positions
Host/Hostess $9.00/hour- 4 positions
Bus person: Bus Persons are responsible for assisting the wait staff, bringing water to the tables, clearing tables, taking out the garbage, helping to set the tables in the dining area, bringing dishes back and forth from the kitchen and generally keeping the dining room clean. They also polish silverware and plates efficiently and help the guest to get seated faster.
Dishwasher: Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning and putting away dishes, pots and glassware that are used in the dining room, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying garbage and keeping the kitchen clean . One of the most important jobs is keeping track of washing all the dishes and putting them away. This job helps all the staff get their work done to be able to accommodate guests.
Food & Beverage Assistant: Food and Beverage Assistants are responsible for waiting on customers, answering customer questions, setting up and clearing tables, and assisting servers. These associates provide excellent service to guests and associates while helping to prepare quality food and beverage products in a safe and clean environment. Food Service Associates also help maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
Host/Hostess: Hosts/hostesses are responsible for helping customers, seating them, taking their orders, using a cash register, and keeping the host station clean. You should also be prepared to help out where needed and in general help keep the restaurant clean and running smoothly. Customer service is key at Rioz. Greeting guests with great big smiles, answering questions, taking reservations, and seating them at their tables makes them feel welcome.
Work Hours: You can expect to work 32 – 40 hours/week. You need to have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
Arrival Dates: You should plan your U.S. arrival so you can begin working May 1 – June 15. Someone from Rioz or myself will be at the airport waiting for you wearing a shirt with the Rioz logo. We will then take you to the housing accommodations.
Departure Dates: We are looking for candidates who can finish working August 30 – October 1. You should be as upfront and honest as possible about your work finish date. It is customary in the U.S. to give at least two weeks notice of your final day of work.
Uniform: You must purchase black dress pants and black non slip shoes. Two Rioz shirts will be provided upon arrival at no cost. Make sure you care for them or you will have to buy more. The cost is $13.25 per shirt.
Housing: Housing is provided at no cost. It is hotel/motel style and is shared between Exchange Visitors. Bed, linens/bedding, and mini fridge are provided. You will be required to read and sign a separate housing agreement. Wifi, electricity, and water are included in the cost. You will have access to a pool and laundry facility. Bank, Entertainment, Grocery, Laundry, and Town Center are all easily accessible by walking, bike, or public transportation.
Area Description: Myrtle Beach, a city and vacation resort on South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. It’s also known for its celebrity-designed golf courses. Along its beachfront boardwalk are arcades, souvenir stands and restaurants, as well as the old-fashioned Family Kingdom amusement park and the SkyWheel, one of the country’s tallest Ferris wheels.
