Two summers ago, I had the opportunity to work and travel in the United States as part of the J1 Summer Work and Travel program. I worked at The Wilson Hotel in Montana, which has such a magic nature areas. The program also taught me important life skills. I became more independent, improved my communication skills, and learned to manage situations and form new friendships with people all over the globe. These experiences boosted my confidence and broadened my perspective on the world. At the end of the summer, I had the chance to travel for a few weeks before returning home. I visited Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Phoenix and San Francisco. Looking back, my J1 experience in America was one of the best times of my life. It was more than just a summer job, it was a journey of self-discovery and cultural exchange that I will always treasure.
